We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Kitty Hawk Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinicians in providing exceptional patient care and delivering the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).
Key Responsibilities- Assist clinicians in providing treatment to patients, including preparing patients for oral examination and assisting with dental procedures.
- Perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, including sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and vendors, and respond to common inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other meetings as required, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Model company culture, values, and standards, and demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand.
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
- Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by applicable state.
- Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance, or have reliable means of alternate transportation.
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
