Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Regional Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Frito Lay. As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, which may involve manual labor, palletized loading/unloading, or using a two-wheeler
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers
  • Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs, and other paperwork related to deliveries
  • Review invoices and/or manifests
  • Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer
  • Have regular contact with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch
  • Be responsible for pre- and post-trip truck inspections
  • Work up to the legal limits allowed by the FMCSA and require overnight trips, as well as weekend and/or holiday work
Requirements
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor-trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without reasonable accommodation
