Sign-On Bonus:
We are excited to announce NEW SIGN-ON BONUSES for CT Technologist positions, with $15,000 available for a two-year commitment or $30,000 for a three-year commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct computed tomography procedures in accordance with established protocols, including the administration of contrast materials.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of imaging data, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Accurately code and track all exams through the RIS system, ensuring proper networking for archiving and interpretation.
- Administer contrast media as per physician orders and departmental policies, assessing patients for potential risk factors prior to administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and explanations to alleviate concerns and encourage cooperation.
- Utilize independent judgment to adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Ensure accurate patient identification using two identifiers and follow universal protocols during procedures.
- Document patient history in electronic records as required, and demonstrate proper techniques in venipuncture and the use of power injectors.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program or completion of an accredited CNMT program.
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist or certification from a CNMT program is required. CT Board Certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
- CPR or BLS certification is mandatory, following AHA standards that include both didactic and skills demonstration components.
