We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Base Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our helicopters.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance experience and hold a valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. They will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances. Our maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and EMS aviation practices and requirements
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of helicopters
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and safety of aircraft
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electrical systems
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance experience
  • Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Valid and current FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
  • Valid and current Drivers License required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
