Magnet Medical Travel Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in Peoria, Illinois. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic Med-Surg environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to the healthcare facility's unit-specific job description. This role requires a graduate of an RN program, previous work experience as an RN, and a current unrestricted RN license in the state.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process
  • Adhere to the healthcare facility's unit-specific job description
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills
Requirements
  • Graduate of an RN program
  • Previous work experience as an RN
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state
Workplace Conditions
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
  • May require lifting to 80 pounds (using proper techniques)
  • May require standing and walking for extended periods
  • May have exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and/or blood-borne pathogens
