Job Overview

As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and performing light housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene needs, dressing, and grooming.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation, games, or other activities.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients.
  • Errands and Transportation: Accompany clients on errands and provide transportation to appointments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid certifications in CPR, first aid, and any relevant state or national certifications.
  • Transportation: A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic cooking skills, and knowledge of household management.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 depending on location and experience.
