Job Overview

To be successful as a Grill Cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes. Ultimately, a top-performing Grill Cook will prepare menu items in accordance with Fresco standards and maintain a safe work area.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up and stocking station according to schematics
  • Cooking meat and vegetables to company standards/recipes
  • Cooking rice and grains to company standards/recipes
  • Document temperatures on all grilled items before transferring to line
  • Utilize only the freshest ingredients. Report quality issues to management
  • Maintain food safety standards in accordance with company and local county standards
  • Monitoring food levels online to ensure replacements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that your workstation always remains clean and orderly.
  • Station breakdown and cleaning on closing shifts
  • Informing the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Cook is preferred
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Capacity to stand for long hours.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Level-headed with outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to lift 40lbs. Ability to push or pull heavy equipment.
