As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient and family.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and compassion.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Experience in pediatric critical care nursing, preferably in a PICU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
