Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal and external sheet metal repairs and modifications on various aircraft.
  • Research and develop repair plans utilizing blueprints, engineering orders, service bulletins, and other technical documents.
  • Fabricate complete sheet metal components by interpreting technical drawings and calculating necessary specifications.
  • Perform structural repairs using appropriate techniques and fasteners, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Install Service Bulletin kits following provided instructions and specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to execute repairs and modifications accurately.
  • Set up and operate sheet metal machinery, including power brakes, presses, and saws.
  • Document all work performed clearly and accurately.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in civilian or military aircraft sheet metal work.
  • Prior experience with sheet metal machinery is preferred.
  • Formal training in sheet metal work, whether through military or technical education, is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude is highly valued.
