We are seeking a skilled Female Residential Counselor to join our team at S&H Youth and Adult Services.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $33,280 - $36,400, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities

As a Female Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing residential supports to female SUD recovery participants.
  • Facilitating recovery skills group counseling and education sessions.
  • Conducting individual counseling to address client behaviors and personal problems.
  • Accompanying participants to self-help groups in the community.
  • Documenting participants' progress and responses to services.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • NC Peer Support Certification or NCASPPB Certification.
  • Related work experience with a program-specific population (adult) in a residential treatment setting.
