Job Description

Krispy Kreme Gateway Blvd is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious doughnuts to our wholesale customers and tunnel shops accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and a commitment to teamwork. They will be responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with our wholesale customers, managing each account's products, display, and being the face of Krispy Kreme.

The successful candidate will be able to greet customers with a sincere smile, listen carefully to their needs, and maintain a pleasant and courteous demeanor. They will also be responsible for driving to each customer safely and efficiently, delivering doughnuts on time, and picking up any doughnuts from the previous day and issuing credits if necessary.

Additional responsibilities include communicating any errors to the manager, assisting in maintaining and upkeeping on all delivery vehicles, and demonstrating safety consciousness at all times. The ideal candidate will also be able to model all store policies, standards, and practices, and follow all Krispy Kreme standards for Food Safety Program and HACCP Plans.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and communicate using the English language
  • Ability to make simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with minimal onsite supervision
  • Ability to operate a company box truck or company van during daylight and night hours
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Ability to understand and utilize GPS road navigation
  • Ability to operate a hand-held device and printer
  • Ability to merchandise food displays
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to count and collect monies due from customer accounts and maintain the security of such monies
