Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Frederick, Maryland. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and nights. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers, and assisting doctors during labor and childbirth.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to women during labor and childbirth
  • Monitor the baby and the mother's vital signs
  • Coach mothers and assist doctors during labor and childbirth
  • Prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth
  • Support patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
