We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at Odessa Regional Medical Center. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting, communicating effectively with physicians, Nurse Managers, and co-workers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting
- Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers about changes in patients clinical condition
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
- Acts as charge nurse, making patient care assignments and directing staff members as needed
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in state of Texas
- BLS certification thru the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification thru the American Heart Association within 6 months of employment
