Position Overview

Salary: 36,420

The role involves a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, encompassing both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hotel management to uphold safety and security standards while ensuring positive public relations.
  • Control access to restricted areas, monitor security systems, and assist visitors with inquiries.
  • Oversee staff access, ensuring compliance with access protocols and preventing unauthorized entry.
  • Manage the issuance and return of keys, create staff identification, and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular patrols of both back and front of house areas to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols.
  • Monitor CCTV footage and report any suspicious activities to the in-house security team.
  • Perform bag searches of staff and contractors exiting the premises, documenting all searches appropriately.
  • Coordinate with supervisors regarding fire alarm management during maintenance activities.
  • Document all incidents and accidents, ensuring that injured individuals receive necessary medical attention.
  • Monitor various alarm systems, ensuring prompt responses to any alerts.
  • Facilitate efficient handovers at the end of shifts, maintaining comprehensive security logs.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident demeanor, capable of engaging effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines independently.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor License (essential).
  • A valid First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Additional qualifications in Health & Safety, SIA CCTV, Defibrillator, or Fire Marshall training are advantageous.
