Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant is tasked with delivering professional care to clinic patients, adhering to established protocols and under the guidance of healthcare providers.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or equivalent technical training is preferred.
  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • Completion of mandatory training on Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters is required within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

  • Day shifts as required; PRN availability is needed.

    • Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role is competitive, with actual rates based on experience.

  • Starting at $27.00 per hour.
