Job Summary

JRT Mechanical is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our team in the Tri-Cities, Washington area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welding and fitting pipes, including carbon and stainless steel, to ensure the highest quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld and fit pipes, including carbon and stainless steel, to precise specifications
  • Fit and install threaded pipes, ensuring accurate and precise connections
  • Hold certification or be qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
  • Perform SMAW and GTAW welding, with a focus on quality and safety
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and shop drawings to ensure accurate pipe installation
  • Clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Install piping supports, such as hangers, struts, and all-thread, to ensure structural integrity
  • Collaborate with other trades as needed to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Experience in pipe fitting and welding, with a focus on carbon and stainless steel
  • 6G certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and precisely
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
