Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to project teams in design and development of solutions.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical consultation directly related to OT solutions.
  • Design and Development: Lead and participate in design and development of OT solutions such as ICS networks and industrial cybersecurity lifecycle with multiple team members.
  • Deliverables: Provide industrial network and cybersecurity lifecycle deliverables such as network diagrams, system architecture diagrams, zone and conduit diagrams, operating procedures.
  • Troubleshooting: Test, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to technical problems and assist others with technical needs.
  • Software Development: Write computer software and programs as necessary.
  • Project Management: Lead project teams for design, installation, commissioning, project closure, and inspections/reporting.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret technical documentation (Process Control Network diagrams, schematics, manuals, etc.).
  • Customer Interface: Interface with the customer/vendor on project technical requirements.
  • Compliance and Quality: Responsible for overall compliance and quality of projects.
  • Project Budget: Responsible for delivery of all project tasks within allotted project budget.
  • Project Scope and Budget Development: Contribute to project scope and budget development.
  • Client Service: Provide project-level consultancy and client service.
  • Team Management: Manage multiple internal team members and technical subcontractors.
  • Project Methodology and Best Practices: Promote Project Methodology and best practices.
  • Project Tasks: Participate and may lead the following project tasks:
    • Project Kickoff
    • System Design/Procurement
    • Programming/Configuration
    • FAT
    • SAT/Commissioning
    • Close-out Documentation

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant Technical degree), and 10 years of Operational Technology or related experience, or a minimum of 15 years of Operational Technology or related experience (includes relevant intern, co-op, or basic work experience).
  • Industry Standards: Great understanding of industry standards (ISA, CISA, NIST) specifically related to ICS networks and cybersecurity.
  • Certifications: Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification.
  • GIAC Certifications: Ability to obtain GIAC certifications such as Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP).
  • Industrial Control Systems: Knowledge of various Industrial Control Systems networks, protocols, and Layer 3+ solution applications.
  • OT Systems: Broad understanding of all components involved in OT systems from end device to control room to enterprise level.
  • Industry Standards: Knowledge of multiple industry standards (ISA, CISA, NIST).
  • Technical Documentation: Proficient at reading and interpreting technical documentation (Process Control Network diagrams, schematics, manuals, etc.).
  • Travel: Ability to travel offshore when necessary.
  • Transportation: Reliable personal transportation with valid liability insurance.
  • Language: Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Availability: Available for after-hour, weekend, and holidays.
  • Extended Travel: Available for overnight and extended travel.
