We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infection Preventionist to join our team at Gogebic Medical Care Facility. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care and supervise the safety of residents in the facility.
- Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary.
- Review residents' admitted and compare physician orders with each resident's plan of care to ensure appropriate implementation.
- Assume a position on the Nursing Management On-Call Schedule Rotation.
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures, as well as safety, standard precautions, and infection control policies and procedures.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Experience in performing the assessment process, computers, and geriatrics (preferred).
- CPR Certification and training in infection prevention.
- Ability to communicate effectively and present a friendly, calm, cooperative, and positive manner.
