Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as a Volunteer Basketball Coach with the Virginia G. Piper Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. As a coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our teen Club members by providing instruction and practice in the sport of basketball.

Your Role:
  • Provide a safe and fun environment for all youth to participate and learn.
  • Develop and implement engaging basketball drills and practices.
  • Work collaboratively with our Sports & Fitness Coordinators to ensure a successful program.
  • Foster a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship among our Club members.

Requirements:
  • A passion for working with youth and a commitment to creating a positive experience for all.
  • Ability to engage in mandatory volunteer trainings and acknowledge our policies.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and reference check process.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move quickly and remain alert and energetic for long periods of time.
