Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Supplemental Health Care. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, assisting and positioning patients, and ensuring safety precautions are taken when working with radiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assist and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Work standing for extended periods of time, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and prevent fatigue
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when working with radiation, including wearing personal protective equipment and following proper procedures for handling and disposing of radioactive materials
Requirements
  • Graduate of an X-ray technician program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or another accrediting agency approved by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience
