We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Lancaster Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
- Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
- 2 years of current ED experience required.
- IV start skills, Central/Arterial Line Skills, Ventilator and BiPAP experience, and Rural hospital experience required.
- Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
- Active New Hampshire or Compact license required.
Lancaster Hospital's Emergency Department is a busy and dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a critical care nurse, you will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
The hospital uses Philips monitors, Sigma Smart Pumps, and McKesson Paragon EMR. Travelers must be able to work independently and hit the ground running.
Dress code is personal scrubs of any color, no denim, no T-shirts, and no perfume/fragrances.
