Job Overview

As a seasoned Accounting Professional, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing sector team. With a strong background in GAAP accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes, and managing month-end activities for accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Manage month-end activities to ensure all entries are made on time and financial results are reported to stakeholders promptly.
  • Conduct account reconciliations for inventory and materials to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare cost accounting records and oversee manufacturing accounting to facilitate cost control and analysis.
  • Collaborate with teams on inventory management and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience with inventory accounting, including raw materials and finished goods.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with M1 ERP/ERP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
