Cleanroom Estimator

At Qleanair Scandinavia Inc, we are seeking an experienced Cleanroom Estimator to join our team. As a Cleanroom Estimator, you will be responsible for providing full-service estimating for prospective projects. This role will involve estimating structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing without design drawings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and coordination skills, as they will work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, architects, and engineers. Travel will be required up to 50% of the time, with the remainder of the time spent in the office.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Estimating turn-key projects from engineering through certification, including all material and labor.
• Maintaining estimates on projects from budgeting through final stages.
• Creating architectural sketches to aid in material estimates.
• Working collaboratively with all internal teams.
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Creating scopes of work for subcontractors to bid according to.
• Estimating service agreements as needed.
• Running estimate review and sales meetings to stay coordinated with the Engineering team.
• Attending drawing reviews to ensure the design and estimate are aligned.
• Creating booking forms.
• Assisting the purchasing department during project buyouts.
• Reviewing sales proposals.
• Creating preliminary project schedules.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of general construction processes.
• Ability to work in CAD and estimating software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
