About the Job

The Endoscopy Technician plays a vital role in the Elliot Health team, ensuring the smooth operation of gastrointestinal procedures. As a key member of the Endoscopy department, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and sterile settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterile procedures on rooms and equipment, including scopes, before and after procedures.
  • Assist registered nurses and physicians during procedures as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and conduct safety checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on endoscopic equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed Nursing Assistant or Surgical Technician experience in an Endoscopy setting preferred.
  • LNA License or Surgical Technologist certification required (or within 1 year of hire).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate or completion preferred on hire or required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
  • NH Medical Technologist Registration required (unless other current NH state license is held).
