Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technician Associate to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a Radiology Technician Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our radiology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist radiologists, technologists, and nurses in providing high-quality patient care, including patient check-in, preparation for procedures, and transportation to and from radiology departments.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the radiology team, including maintaining accurate records, preparing examination rooms, and replenishing stock and linen.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in proper patient care techniques and procedures.
  • Communication: Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in a professional and courteous manner, consistent with the values of Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Experience: Any combination of training and/or experience that will allow the incumbent to perform the listed duties, with previous medical office experience desired.
Additional Requirements
  • Criminal Background Check: Must meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, a Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check.
  • Covid Vaccination: Covid vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
