As a key member of our emergency response and rapid services team, you will play a critical role in providing real-time emergency and time-critical environmental removal actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical labor on job sites handling hazardous materials in bulk, drums, and small containers;
  • Operate power tools and small equipment to support environmental remediation efforts;
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency situations and working overtime as needed;
  • Collaborate with team members to contain and remove hazardous materials from the environment;
  • Participate in site restoration and cleanup activities;
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work activities and site conditions;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in environmental remediation and hazardous materials handling.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher preferred;
  • 10 OSHA Construction Safety course completion recommended but not required;
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and under adverse site conditions;
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing site conditions.
