Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health LLC. As a key member of our anesthesia team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working closely with our board-certified anesthesiologists to manage complex anesthesia cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement anesthesia protocols in collaboration with our anesthesiologists
  • Perform advanced anesthesia and sedation techniques, including the use of intravenous anesthetics and local and regional analgesic and anesthetic techniques
  • Facilitate and participate in basic and advanced CPR techniques
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Assist in the oversight of equipment maintenance, calibration, and repair
  • Provide exceptional patient advocacy and promote patient and personnel safety
  • Foster a culture of learning and transparency within the team
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff members in various anesthetic skills
  • Perform on-call duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a CVT/RVT/LVT
  • Credentialed as a VTS in Anesthesia & Analgesia by AVTAA (or interested in pursuing)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and active listening skills
  • Ability to think critically and work well under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to promote a positive culture
  • Interest in teaching and training technicians
