Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our team at Cregger Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, deliver, and unload appliances and other materials to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare trucks for operation by assisting in the loading of trucks, securing items, and verifying shipping papers.
  • Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other essential systems to ensure safe and cost-effective performance.
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to meet established time frames and customer needs.
  • Maintain communication with the company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received.
  • Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by customers according to company directives and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Maintain a safe driving record free of violations.
  • Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Follow special instructions pertaining to individual orders.
  • Receive shipments.
  • Report quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
  • Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-ups.
  • Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
  • Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
  • Present a neat and professional image.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
