Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As an Assistant Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality cakes are consistently produced for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Baker in preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking.
  • Manually wash, rinse, and sanitize all baking pans, dishes, utensils, and other tools in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and ovens to bake cakes.
  • Assist with daily baking and production flow and processes.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation and assist baker to ensure all baking supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
  • Ability to evaluate products, processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
