Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients using Siemens CT scanners. You will work closely with radiologists to administer medications, contrast agents, and provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality radiographs of patients using Siemens CT scanners
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS
  • Verify proper charges and referring physician's orders
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain room cleanliness
  • Assist radiologists in administering medications and contrast agents
  • Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS
  • Assist with PACS clean up and maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and patient information
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited CT Tech program
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Massachusetts state license
  • One year of Epic experience
  • ARRT certification
  • Requires trauma experience and enough experience to make decisions independently
