About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to join our team at A Miracle Home Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene and care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Assist with mobility, including transfers and ambulation
  • Provide elimination/toileting/incontinent care
  • Assist with nutrition and meal preparation
  • Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, and washing floors
  • Assist with laundry, including ironing
  • Accompany clients to appointments and ensure safe return home
  • Provide shopping assistance
  • Engage in reality orientation and sensory stimulation
  • Use a Hoyer lift to assist with transfers
  • Provide verbal medication reminders
  • Practice standard precautions and infection control to prevent cross-contamination
Qualifications
  • Preferably 18 years old and meet one of the required training criteria
  • Pass BCII/FBI background checks and database checks
  • Valid Driver's License with possession of your own vehicle
  • Able to understand written task sheets and execute instructions
  • A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick and mature
  • Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
  • Able to communicate with clients/families and emergency service systems personnel
  • Attend in-person/classroom training prior to client contact
