Job Summary

This Paralegal role under the supervision of attorneys will perform a range of substantive case, matter, or entity-related duties.

You will prepare drafts of legal and other documents and correspondence for attorney review, compile, analyze, and summarize information, and coordinate efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, other parties, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of substantive case, matter, or entity-related duties by supporting efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, and other parties.
  • Develop, monitor, and update closing and other books and documents.
  • Responsible for researching, preparing, and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms, and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation.
  • Develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, paralegals, attorneys, and clients on a daily basis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of work associated with each matter.
  • Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys in your home office and in office across the firm.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or a Paralegal certificate.
  • Must meet the California Paralegal Requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Paralegal certificate.
  • 6 years of experience as a paralegal.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar applications.
