About the Night Shift Diesel Truck Technician Position

Brubacher Excavating is seeking a skilled Night Shift Diesel Truck Technician to join our team. As a Night Shift Diesel Truck Technician, you will work a four-day work week (each shift starting at 5:00 PM) and enjoy a consistent schedule with a full-time position that allows you to enjoy a three-day weekend all year long.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance using modern diagnostic instruments and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and/or rebuild diesel engines and systems
  • Read and interpret vehicle manuals and schematic diagrams
  • Obtain a Class "7" Pennsylvania inspection license and a CDL-A license within the first year of employment
Requirements
  • Mechanical/electrical/hydraulic aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret diagnostic equipment
  • Understanding of the metric system as well as US system of measurements
  • Ability to explain problems and solutions found during analysis
  • At least one year of experience in a similar environment
