Counterparts Coordinator

Southwest Automotive Group is looking for a reliable and professional Parts Counterperson to join our team. As a Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for purchasing, selling, storing, and issuing parts within our busy dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Determine customer needs and specify parts accordingly
• Create and modify purchase orders
• Issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts
• Record warranty parts returned
• Create special ordered parts on the dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician, or client upon receipt
• Review special order parts tracking
• Process and close open invoices
• Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
• Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
• Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of dealership warehouse experience and/or training is also necessary. Candidates with equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and paid holidays.
