Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Lead to join our team at Outside In. As a Medical Assistant Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in our primary care outpatient clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise new medical assistants and externs to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of workflows to improve patient flow and reduce wait times.
  • Provide operational support to the medical assistant team, including lab duties and administrative tasks.
  • Run on-site lab tests and perform quality control tasks to ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare and administer medications, injections, and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA laws and patient rights.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid Healthcare Provider CPR card and either a AAMA, NCCT or CCMA certification.
  • Prior experience working as an MA in a clinical setting with pediatric and adolescent patients is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Outside In offers a competitive salary range of $26.08 to $28.79 per hour, based on experience and skills.
