**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at NHC HealthCare Anniston. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Requisition and maintain supplies and equipment for housekeeping activities
  • Keep records of work performed and costs involved
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety
  • Prepare and submit reports as directed by the administrator
  • Be on call for emergencies
  • Maintain the flooring throughout the entire building, including daily, quarterly, and yearly tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

**Requirements:**

  • High school graduate or graduate of a technical school
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb
  • Able to lift over 100 pounds occasionally
