Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all departmental functions during their shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures, serving as a resource for staff and exemplifying the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient care.
- Engage in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Foster teamwork among staff to enhance service and outcomes.
- Promote a patient-first philosophy and participate in service recovery initiatives.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure adherence to productivity guidelines.
- Oversee inventory control and manage supplies and equipment effectively.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 4 months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
- A Registered Nurse license with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
