Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at the Floyd County Outpatient Clinic. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized case management and clinical services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals, including individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
- Manage a caseload, ensuring all services are authorized, chart paperwork is complete and current, and individual charts are closed according to policy and procedure.
- Communicate effectively with referral sources, individuals, and families to ensure timely and effective services.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
- Two or more years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize electronic medical records.
- Bilingual abilities a plus.
