CAN Community Health is seeking a skilled Medical Provider to join our team. As a Medical Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical histories, and making referrals as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and examinations to identify health risk factors and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and make referrals to specialists as necessary.
- Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) licensure or Physician Assistant licensure.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HIV medicine preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, lab orders, and results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interruptions.
Education/Professional Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program.
