Responsibilities and QualificationsRole of the Surgical Care Nurse
Registered Nurses are essential in coordinating and delivering patient care. The role involves collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide both physical and emotional support to patients and their families. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: assessments, developing personalized care plans, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, educating patients, and ensuring proper equipment usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate understanding of human development, assessment, treatment options, and care tailored to the age groups served.
- Promote initiatives focused on customer service.
- Apply the nursing process to meet individual patient needs.
- Exhibit proficiency in performing technical skills and procedures.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions.
- Required Qualifications:

- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
