Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining in-use utility poles, as well as performing related tasks such as digging post legs and installing mechanical and welded structural steel assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspection of utility poles to ensure safety and security
- Digging post legs on steel transmission structures
- Installation of mechanical and welded structural steel assemblies
- Concrete repair of tower foundations
- Hand excavation, cleaning, inspection, and coating of steel tower and steel pole structural members
- Competitive starting pay up to $25.00 per hour based on experience
- Opportunity for weekly bonuses based on meeting qualifications
- 13 days paid time off, plus 7 paid holidays each year
- Weekly pay periods
- Medical/Dental/Eye plans with a less than 60 day waiting period for full-time employees
- 401(k) with employer match
- At least 1 year of experience in construction, landscaping, or other outside work
- Clean valid driver's license
- Ability to travel extensively (100%) for the job
- Class A CDL endorsement is a plus
