Job Title: Property Accountant

Job Summary:

LHH is seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-end close and debt reporting
  • Monthly reporting and bank reconciliations
  • Fixed assets, mortgage, and accounts payable management
  • Review and coding of invoices for portfolio of properties
  • Assist in producing timely and accurate financial reporting for assigned investment portfolios
  • Track weekly payments for select vendors and ensure timely payment of invoices

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • 3-5+ years of experience in property accounting/finance department
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience within the real estate industry is preferred
  • Experience in public accounting will be considered
  • Technical skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
