Position Summary:
We are in search of a motivated individual who possesses a meticulous approach and a constructive mindset for the role of Maintenance Technician - Electrician. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, quality, and ongoing enhancement in their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a range of electrical, pneumatic, and electronic instruments to monitor and regulate variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, and composition.
  • Calibrate, repair, maintain, and adjust system components, as well as install and service instruments and controls on both new and existing machinery.
  • Experience with automation, PLCs, HMIs, troubleshooting, and basic programming is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in plastics/extrusion is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and P&ID blueprints.
  • Strong logical decision-making capabilities along with effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure while demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Exhibit a sense of ownership and accountability in all tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices, coupled with excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Working Conditions:
This role requires a high level of mobility and involves significant walking, standing for extended periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting weights of 50-75 lbs. The work environment is fast-paced, necessitating considerable sensory attention. Personal safety may be impacted by exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise levels, and the use of sharp tools.
