Nurse Manager

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead our Hemodialysis department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes in the Hemodialysis department.
- Manage nursing staffing, scheduling, and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements related to Hemodialysis.
- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives for staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in Hemodialysis.

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of DE required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree required within 3 years of hire.
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required.
- Nurse Executive certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical and leadership experience in Hemodialysis required.
- Basic Life Support Required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
