Data Engineering Lead for Advanced Analytics

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our Advanced Analytics team at General Motors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing analytical data sets to support business-critical initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data products for analytics solutions.
- Driving the adoption of cloud-first technologies and industry-standard Data Engineering practices to accelerate and scale engineering capabilities.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Providing technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements for Success:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on advanced analytics and machine learning.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality data products and data pipelines.
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
