Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Dentist to join our team at Petaluma Health Center. As a Staff Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, from routine cleanings to complex procedures. You will work closely with our team of dental professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and manage patient care, delivering high-quality dental services in all phases of dentistry.
  • Diagnose and treat patients to achieve excellent results within estimated treatment time, with maximum attention to patient comfort.
  • Deliver treatment plans to patients, along with an informed consent discussion surrounding treatment options, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
  • Make appropriate referrals and communicate with specialists.
  • Provide patient education materials and possess excellent people skills, particularly a caring attitude toward patients and staff.
  • Follow a comprehensive program of preventive dentistry and create treatment plans and prioritize treatment based on medical necessity and quadrant dentistry.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental School.
  • Active dental license for the state of CA, with completion of CE requirements, including Dental Practice Act and Infection Control.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, preferred.
