We are seeking a licensed speech language pathologist for a 14-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.

The shift is great, working 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, plus one weekend day each month. Our client is a 99-bed, full-service acute care center.

Responsibilities include evaluating and assessing patients, establishing functional, measurable goals, and promoting restoration of functional abilities. The SLP will also advise and consult with family and/or other caregivers, and work collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines.

Qualifications include a Master's Degree, experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies. The ideal candidate will also have CRT-Clinical Competency in Audiology Certification (CCC-A) - ASHA and CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA.
