Job Title: Driver (Full-Time)

Job Summary:

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to and from our retail store, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate vehicle logs and daily trip sheets according to company procedures.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, accidents, or other transportation-related incidents to the leadership team.
• Load and unload trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers by hand or with the use of a hand truck, lift gate, and/or pallet jack during pick-up and drop-offs.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Clean the interior and exterior of the assigned vehicle as needed.
• Report any concerns to the leadership team immediately.
• Pad, stack, and secure items in position on the truck to prevent damage during transit.
• Work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
