Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety and Quality Manager to join our team at 3 Amigos Recruiting LLC. As an SQF Practitioner and Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining our company's Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Food Safety Plans: Lead the development and implementation of Food Safety Fundamentals as outlined in the SQF code.
- Verify and Validate Food Safety Plans: Maintain, verify, and validate the Food Safety Plan as outlined in the SQF code and FSMA.
- Communicate with Relevant Personnel: Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the food safety plans.
- Conduct Internal Audits: Scheduling and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with SQF and FSMA requirements.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, with the ability to lead, participate, and/or work directly with cross-functional teams and/or individuals.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all food safety and quality programs are in compliance with SQF, FSMA, GFSI, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in dairy science, food science, or a biological science or related field preferred.
- Experience: One to three years of relevant work experience preferred, with experience in GFSI, FSMA, HACCP, and GMP's as they relate to food safety programs.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite, and organizational specific software. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and professional communication skills.
