We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Howell Opco LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervising and guiding clinical staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Provide Nursing Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Supervise and Direct Clinical Staff: Assign tasks, provide guidance, and evaluate the performance of junior staff members and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Accurately administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians, documenting all actions as required by company policies and regulations.
- Participate in Orientation and Training: Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment, utilizing supplies economically and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing and valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
- Certifications and Experience: Valid CPR certification and one year of experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Competitive Compensation: Starting at $38.20-$51.95 per hour, based on experience, shift, and other incentives.
